Iargara este un oraş în raionul Leova, Republica Moldova. Amplasat în sud-vestul republicii, pe malul râului Tigheci, oraşul Iargara este situat la o distanţă de 100 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia oraşului constituie 5108 locuitori. Localitatea Iargara a fost întemeiată în anul 1902, odată cu înfiinţarea staţiei de cale ferată pe traseul Basarabeasca-Prut.
