Musaitu este un sat şi comună din raionul Taraclia. Musaitu este unicul sat din comuna cu acelaşi nume. Localitatea se află la distanța de 28 km de orașul Taraclia și la 169 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004 populaţia satului constituia 1081 de oameni. Satul Musaitu a fost menționat documentar în anul 1529.
