Băxani este un sat şi comună din raionul Soroca. Băxani este unicul sat din comuna cu acelaşi nume, situat la 17 km de oraşul Soroca și la 147 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 915 oameni. Satul Băxani a fost menționat documentar în anul 1471.
