Băiuş este un sat şi comună din raionul Leova. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Cociulia Nouă și Băiuş. Localitatea se află la distanța de 26 km de orașul Leova și la 100 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1010 oameni. Satul Băiuș a fost menționat documentar în anul 1911.
