Pepeni este un sat şi comună din raionul Sîngerei. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Romanovca, Pepeni, Răzălăi, Pepenii Noi. Satul Pepeni se află la distanța de 24 km de orașul Sîngerei și 87 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 4415 oameni. Localitatea a fost menționată documentar în 1781.
