Svetlîi este un sat şi comună din UTA Găgăuzia. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Alexeevca și Svetlîi. Localitatea se află la distanța de 30 km de municipiul Comrat și la 134 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1883 de oameni. Satul Svetlîi a fost menționat documentar în anul 1913 cu denumirea Denevița Nouă.
