Ţipala este un sat şi comună din raionul Ialoveni. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Budăi, Ţipala și Bălţaţi. Localitatea se află la distanța de 30 km de orașul Ialoveni și la 32 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 3609 oameni. Satul Ţipala a fost menționat documentar în anul 1595.
