Varniţa este un sat şi comună din raionul Anenii Noi. Satul Varniţa este aşezat pe malul drept al Nistrului, la mică depărtare de cetatea Bender și la 67 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004 populaţia satului constituie 4210 locuitori. Satul Varniţa este atestat documentar pentru prima oară la 15 ianuarie 1560.
