Şipca este un sat şi comună din raionul Soldăneşti. Şipca este unicul sat din comuna cu acelaşi nume, situat la 3 km de orașul Șoldănești și 120 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 756 de oameni. Prima mențiune documentară certă a localității datează din anul 1610.
