Țîra este un sat din cadrul comunei Ghindești, raionul Floreşti. Localitatea este situată la distanța de 15 km de orașul Florești și la 120 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 261 de oameni. Satul Țîra este menționat documentar în anul 1437 cu denumirea Țîrvici.
