Vădeni este un sat şi comună din raionul Soroca. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Vădeni și Dumbrăveni. Localitatea se află la distanța de 20 km de orașul Soroca și la 145 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 2318 oameni. Satul Vădeni a fost menționat documentar în anul 1552.
