Covurlui este un sat şi comună din raionul Leova. Covurlui este unicul sat din comuna cu acelaşi nume. Localitatea se află la distanța de 20 km de orașul Leova și la 75 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1571 de oameni. Satul Covurlui a fost menționat documentar în anul 1552.
