Voloviţa este un sat şi comună din raionul Soroca. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Voloviţa și Alexandru cel Bun. Localitatea se află la distanța de 7 km de orașul Soroca și la 149 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1295 de oameni. Satul Volovița a fost menționat documentar în anul 1803.
