Luminiţa este un sat din cadrul comunei Valea-Trestieni, raionul Nisporeni. Localitatea se află la distanța de 8 km de orașul Nisporeni și la 78 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 285 de oameni. Satul Luminița a fost menționat în anul 1798 cu denumirea Bîzdîga.
