Pașcani este un sat și comună din raionul Hîncești. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile Pereni și Pașcani. Localitatea se află la distanța de 32 km de orașul Hîncești și la 63 km de Chișinău. Conform datelor recensămîntului din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1464 de locuitori. Satul Pașcani a fost menționat documentar în anul 1554.
