Căzăneşti este un sat şi comună din raionul Teleneşti. Din componenţa comunei fac parte localităţile: Căzăneşti, Vadul-Leca și Vadul-Leca Nou. Localitatea este situată la distanța de 40 km de oraşul Teleneşti şi la 90 km de Chișinău. La recensămîntul din anul 2004, populaţia satului constituia 1945 de oameni. Satul Căzănești a fost menționat documentar în anul 1617.
